Re: Headlight adjustment for foreign driving

On a related matter, does anyone else get randomly flashed at (headlights not dirty!) when dipped beams are on? I think people think I have main beams on because the LEDs are so bright. This might be related to the lights being "neutral"?

Reading out SMS text messages

I've asked this question before, but there was no reply, so am hoping now that there are more members someone might be able to help... My car won't read out text messages when they arrive, it pops up the notification message and when I select "Read" it thinks about it for a bit, says somet...

Re: Phone contacts

I have the exact same problem with my android phone (Sony Xperia Z2) I wondered if it was just SIM contacts, but I don't think so as I copied some around and it made no difference. It also won't read out incoming text messages (It notifies me and asks of I want it read out, but fails to connect to t...

i-ELOOP

Has anyone else noticed the cool i-ELOOP display screen on their CX-3? According to the brochure this only comes on the 2.0 petrol AWD, and is some quasi hybrid energy regeneration thing using a specialised capacitor, alternator and convertor. I love the graphic where it shows you the braking and co...

Re: My new blue Sport Nav 2.0 AWD

It's a tough colour to photograph. I think it looks better in real life, a stronger/deeper colour. I wanted the car ASAP, so only had the choice of this, Ceramic or Titanium, and am glad I went for this colour now. I probably would have gone for red or the darker blue if I had the choice, but the wa...

Re: SatNav problems

So, out of desperation, I did a full "factory reset" of the MZD-Connect system. This appears to have done the job, and I haven't had the problem again since doing it. (although I've only driven it for 4 or 5 hours afterwards, but it was doing it more and more frequently prior to the reset....

My new blue Sport Nav 2.0 AWD

Took delivery of my new baby on Saturday, and am in love with it already. (barring an annoying satnav fault!) Am still deciding if I need the armrest or if it will get in the way. (my old Juke had one as standard and it was very useful.) Also - do I need a boot liner, the one in the Nissan just got ...

SatNav problems

Hi all, I picked up my new baby on Saturday, and took it for the obligatory long drive. All was fine for a while and then the SatNav started resetting itself while I was driving along, the screen would blip, the maps disappear, and then a thinking/loading circle thing pops up and says "Navigati...
