Re: Rear ended today!!! GRRRR!!!!!

Picked up the CX-3 today - pleased to get rid of the disco, comfortable of course although awkward for wifey to get in, but we found it positively dangerous pulling out at junctions, put your foot down... Count to 3... then off it would go! Didn't like it. G L Coachworks in Sidcup did a great job re...

thanks, andy I presume you mean on the inside of the car? I hadn't thought of that. :o thanks
I actually meant the outside of the top middle of the windscreen where all the sensors are located..... but l think you've got the jist of it all now - weather related 👍😎

Re: smart brake warning light

Try cleaning the top part of the windscreen where all the sensors are first! It's been a pretty dirty wet few days down south!

Re: rear bumper

If there's only one new one in the country at the moment....... *ITS MINE*

Ebay have them second hand for anything from £50 to £100 ish, but of course you'll have to colour match etc.

Or as someone said - your insurance company?

Re: Rear ended today!!! GRRRR!!!!!

Something that has allayed my fears of losing my excess (£400) is that I suddenly remembered that I continued the Mazda 'Excess Protection' for up to £500 back in March and found t...

Re: Rear ended today!!! GRRRR!!!!!

Thanks for that Strangways, the disco is a monster compared to the CX-3, the other half has quite a job climbing up into the cab - but once she's there she loves it!
I think I'm more annoyed at finding my once pristine wheels are now quite scratched than the car being taken for repairs!

Re: Rear ended today!!! GRRRR!!!!!

As he walked around my car checking for imperfections I told him the wheels are pristine - he said "No they're not!"....
Both front wheels have scratches on!! Not from kerning - looks like a trolley or something has banged into them! So annoyed.
