Re: 18inch wheel & tyre for sale

Fitted it today.... Actually expected it to fit into the well in the boot and rest onto the foam insulation mat (the foam mat insert as seen on JT's web site), but it rests on either side of the well so if not secured with (say...) foam around the wheel, it might rock a bit (as in Motorhead?...

Re: 18inch wheel & tyre for sale

Thanks for the wheel and tyre Andy and the longer threaded rod/wingnut which was a bonus. The scuff is much less noticable than in the picture AND it was already painted over which saved me another job.
All in all a happy (Easter) bunny!

Re: Dual Mass Flywheel kaput after 39000 miles

A quick search on the web re dual mass flywheel failures pulls up failures from all marques so I'm not so sure it's just Mazda (although the 6 seems to have more than some?).... Why change something that has worked well?! (ie a standard clutch)

Re: Newbie from Nottingham saying Hi

Welcome to the forum and personally I think the CX-3 (120bhp) certainly isn't under powered (coming from a Golf Gtd), can't compare it to an MX-5 having never owned one but my friend who is about the same height as you owns one and I must say it's quite comical watching him squeeze himself in and dr...

Re: Tyres oem or another brand

I'm sure I would have got used to it if I only drove the CX3, but as I'm out in the MX5 at every opportunity it was noticeable every time I got back into the CX3. I also have access to other vehicles and still have no problem with the CX-3 now - how weird?!? :? Tyre pressures?? Who knows? Never min...

Re: Tyres oem or another brand

Toyo are currently fitted, have not had an issue with them, 24000 mls, so not complaining, just willing to try something different if there is anything out there. I'd stick with the Toyo's myself, it's funny Strangways mentioned the constant correcting because when we first had the car we noticed t...

Re: Tyres oem or another brand

Whats the issue with the Bridgestones ? Our CX3 has them ( Turanzas) Thanks Personally, I've had them on other vehicles (Bridgestone Potenzas), they last for ages because they are fairly hard, but because of their hardness they were awfully noisy - something the CX-3 can well do without, at least t...
