Re: Steering Wheel Lock

A 'Defender' key pouch will stop attempts of 'cloning' your key - although cloning isn't the correct phrase, it's Sunday and my brain switches into sleep mode.

Re: Petrol pump clicking off

Personally I fill up when I decide the car needs it, pay the nice person and drive away, I - along with Strangways - do not play this game, I was once in a rented van with someone who wanted to eek out every penny for fuel and ended up walking along the A2 in pouring rain with him (and my 12 yr old ...

If you look to the left & just below the steering column there is a little rectangular grill in the trim, the interior temperature sensor is behind that. There is also a sunlight sensor in the top of the dashboard close to the windscreen.
Thanks for that JT! :D

Re: Auto Lights Setting

Only time my lights are NOT on auto is after a service (or MOT) where the mechanic has reset them to 'off' (but without going out to the car I couldn't tell you what particular setting they're on))

Re: Forum members air con experience

Sound like the temperature sensors could be at fault possibly? - wherever they are?? You could get every part of the A/C changed but if the sensors are faulty nothing will work correctly! Had similar problem in a Golf, heater blowing cold air in the depths of winter - faulty sensor in the passenger ...

Re: Diesel in Engine Oil

I may be wrong but I think it's a bit more complicated than that, there are sensors covering all manner of engine/exhaust/DPF soot levels etc that may vary on a day to day basis dependent on engine temp, external air temp etc etc, so I don't think you'll ever get a proper result?? As I say, I may we...

Re: Mazda Connect without navi?

Am I imagining it, but when updating the SD maps in Mazda Toolbox and now having to choose which map to install (Europe or Russia IIRC) isn't there an option of 'Please insert/install/use a lager capacity card????

If so, where does one get a suitable larger card??? Mazda themselves??
