I agree, until the infrastructure for charging is sorted I can't see how the average person can own an electric vehicle?

I very much doubt you will get your mobility scooter in the boot - even with the rear seats down! As mentioned the boot is tiny, tiny, tiny.

This is my (2016) steering wheel with speed limiter and (just to confirm) as stated at the top of the menu Cruise Control is fitted to *some* models......

I assume you bought the car privately otherwise I suggest get it back to the dealer you bought it from. I can't be more help I'm afraid as you've tried everything I would do myself - short of starting to take the car apart!

Have you tried raising the volume (on the steering wheel) whilst in the voice operated situation?

I've had previous cars that would on occasion have the windscreen covered with ice on the inside, not really thought/worried much about it - just dealt with it at the time, JT has explained the physics - get a silica gel bag or cover the external screen on what might be freezing nights, Google it, y...
