Re: Turn off i-Stop Permanently?
I don't mind I-Stop, until it gets in a tizzy, usually when you have pulled up at traffic lights, then they change as soon as the engine as stopped. Then there is an embarrassing "stall" before it sorts itself out.

Re: rear screen heater/condensation.
Yes the door mirrors are pretty good at clearing, but as Gadget man said, the rear screen defogger is useless. Yes it is set to 15 minutes and, as I pointed out, even 30 minutes doesn't do it. You can actually see the heating elements have "warmed" up, but obviously not enough to heat the ...

rear screen heater/condensation.
It's that time of year, damp and often cold, which have manifested two issues; 1. Condensation!! To me it seems pathetic that the owner of a modern car has to resort to a sock filled with cat litter! 2. The useless nature of the rear screen heater. I drove to a friends last night, 12 miles of rear h...

Re: Condensation on windscreen
Well that explains the morning condensation issues, I will have to get some cat litter. But doesn't explain why the rear screen heater is so useless. Hell my 50 year old MGB GT works better than this Mazda effort!

Re: Mazda CX-3 iStop - problem or no problem?
One way to stop the i-stop is to have a draw on the electrical system or having the air-con on. Even with just the heater fan on 3 is enough on mine! to cancel i-stop! Presumably the CPU detects the demand and opts to keep the alternator and therefore the engine, running!

Re: Map update - new one overdue now?
After my Mazda Dec 2018 update last Friday, I went out this morning to check some of the deficiencies on my Sat Nav, still evident after the May update. SUCCESS!! The out of date speed limits have been up-dated to reflect those on the Here web site. So check the site! Another interesting point is th...

Re: Intermittent warning lights on dash
The last couple of days my dash warning lights have had brief spells of illuminating. One has even been glowing a warning for a system my car doesn't have???

Re: Map update - new one overdue now?
I've just been nagging Here about updates AND map editing. Editing takes a lot of working out but I think I managed a couple of additions, I THINK!!!!!. It was also significant that some of the information, speed limits and the existence of roads and addresses were on the Here mapping but not on my ...
