Re: Roof rails
I went for the Thule set in the end with the mazda adapter and new roof strips (with hole for the bolts) good quality and sturdy but would accept windnoise comment. I don't remember where but there was criticism of the roof rails as they were an awkward shape! as for all weather mats I went for a co...

Re: Glovebox removal and light replacement
Thanks to both. I did see what I thought were clips that could be compressed but it was reluctant to move so didn't want to force it.
Removing the glove just makes access easier. I am not quite as flexible as I used to be!
All the best

Glovebox removal and light replacement
Does anyone have specific instructions on how to replace the glovebox light. I can see it referenced all over the place but cant find specific details + diagrams on what to do. I can see the light and connections but cant work out exactly how to replace it. I would also appreciate details on how to ...

Re: CX3 Fuel pump recall
Quick history if it helps. Car failed to start last week, called RAC to assist. They were late so I tried and it started first time. Went for short drive, turn engine off and restarted. Turned engine off again. Cancelled RAC. Went to set off a little later and fired up but engine very weak and would...

Re: Random folding mirror issue.
Not sure if this was resolved, but had similar type issue myself. Identified as door actuator issue , replaced under warranty without fuss.
Mazda garage stated they were well aware of the fault.
best wishes

Re: rust on underbody
Update Went back to the Mazda garage for inspection and query to Mazda. Answer as below Mazda - "The corrosion isn't bad, yes it is present and the underside of any vehicle will do very similar. Obviously where the car lives and is parked can also make some worse than others, ie parked on grass...

Re: rust on underbody
Thank you - I am going the rustproofing direction regardless but think Mazda should take some responsibility for this. I agree, BIG difference! On viewing the inspection video from Mazda at last service it does appear to ski from point to point, not lingering over bodywork just suspension. An unfort...
