Re: Dashboard rattle

With warmer weather might it be that tyres are harder hence vibrations/buzzes everywhere?

Re: Service Plan Renewal problem.

Nothing wrong with budgeting with a Mazda service plan However-would suggest also budget for additional wear and tear items ( £not included). In addition of course the vehicle will be exposed to a compulsory MOT £charge with likely "£advisables". All in all I would guess the real cost of a fourth se...

Re: Brake pad warning.

Four years on the same brake pads is great.
If it was me--I would get an inspection at a trusted "garage" and immediately change what needs to be done.

Frozen information screen-today at 1050 BST

[*] From engine start up--noticed that the info screen was frozen on the coms logo( no radio)--and nothing normal would shift it. Pulled over and switched off engine-got out of vehicle-locked it and waited 3 mins. Started up again-info screen still frozen--so decided to travel on and see what happen...

Re: premium v regular unleaded

Always try to buy regular at supermarkets. Not only is it cheaper, but its also quicker now that most Shell/BP forecourts have a Waitrose or a Marks or a coffee shop that add to cashpoint chaos and a traffic jam queue at actual pump.....grrrr.

Fuel notification

Filled up on Monday and the indicator read that I had 426 miles till the next fill up. Today was passing a cheap('ish) petrol place and since I had time, thought I would top up to the top again. Noted before top up that my gauge was reading that I had 379 miles to go. Tank took another £7 to fill to...

Re: Extended Warranty - when did Mazda contact you?

If you buy new with a three year service plan and all the other extras-I would guess that the best thing to do would be to exchange your car at just under 4 years old and not bother with an extended warranty. You will have had the full 12 month benefit of the last service within your 3 year service ...

Re: Steering wheel cruise control mode inadvertently switched on...

Just recently had first Mazda service, hence delay in responding to jtonline. No--no non Mazda parts fitted! At service-Requested full check over re earlier low battery voltage issue. Dealer -knew I had contacted Mazda Assist. They double checked everything-All reported fine--so maybe my whole episo...

Re: Steering wheel cruise control mode inadvertently switched on...

Very useful reply Greenman-thanks. Been wondering if all this might be due to the sluggish low voltage in battery-eg throwing settings out etc.. Noticed this afternoon for example that my trip meter had inadvertently switched from odometer to trip B.....well...I didn't switch it and nobody else did?...

Steering wheel cruise control mode inadvertently switched on...

Frightening experience yesterday(monday). Cruise control got inadvertently mode(d) ON on the steering wheel( have never used it before) -and off course car naturally would not speed over 20mph. Stopped in lay-by thinking that vehicle might have been in "limp mode". Car would not restart immediately-...
