Re: Mazda CX-3 Touch Up Paint match Machine Grey problem

Quick tip-Please forgive the lateness ,but I've just spotted this. For small scratches and scuffs I have found a coat or three of shoe polish totally adequate for mini paint replacing jobs. For me it's a small black round tin costing a £1. You can get grey polish too. It may not be your exact match-b...

Replace rear windscreen wiper rubber

How do I replace my rear windscreen rubber please. The rubber is frayed and failure to replace will negate purpose of wiper and even scratch rear window.I've looked on you-tube and most generic advice looks and feels fiddly. The vehicle was only recently serviced and I failed to notice on collecting...

Not using CX3-

Cant' see myself using my CX3 much in the next weeks or months. Haven't used it for the last fortnight. So today, started car up, warmed it and ran it gently for 25 minutes. I released handbrake, repositioned vehicle, applied footbrake a few times, then switched everything off. Will repeat in a week...

Re: What did you do to your CX3 today

Happy to pass this little tip on. Using a cloth squirted with WD40 wipe wheel arches, front and rear bumper plastic plus the lower external plastic at base of all 4 doors. Lovely shine. I've also on occasion WD40 wiped the tyres to get that "wet" look-although careful to avoid over doing it. Don't h...

Re: Feeling lucky on tank range

Surely its a bit of a wall of death to drive till there's a 0 on the dial?-but well done getting an extra 10 miles!

Personally-I fill up when i drop below 100-you never know when you might need to make a journey when petrol is unavailable/ gas stations might be closed?

Green warning light LIM-adjustable speed limiter

Twice over the last days after around 5 minutes driving at varied speeds from cold, this warning light has come on accompanied by the inability to accelerate over 20mph. On both occasions I was changing up gears( 2nd to 3rd). I safely stopped vehicle, turned ignition off-then restarted engine--LIM l...

Dash red security indicator light

Noticed recently that my red warning security indicator light(the one with the mini padlock) flashes every three seconds when the engine is off and the vehicle safely locked . The security--and the light- is of course disarmed when the engine is started and running. All else normal. Have had the veh...
