Ante theft transmitter -posssible fault

Had to call for breakdown assistance the other day. A sudden mass of yellow warning lights and an alarm. Technician quickly diagnosed the fault as "ante theft transmitter". He "reset" it using his laptop--and the vehicle has been fine since. Technician suggested further investiga...

Re: Speaker rattle

Just a thought-have you tried adjusting the sound settings ?
A little less bass can have a beneficial effect? And what happens when you reduce the overall volume?

Fuel quantity monitoring

I like the addition of the guage giving approximate mileage remaining as well as a regular quantity guage. However I'm finding the former a wee bit unreliable. I filled up recently ( to full)-and mileage monitor read 440 miles remaining --which is about average. I then drove 10 rural miles and the f...

It’s all very well having a huge range of stations, but no good at all if they keep fading out. However good old FM is superb with excellent technical quality for BBC...

DAB+

Quick question. I’ve certainly got DAB in my car but not sure if that includes DAB+?
I’ve read that certain stations ( Classic FM for one) are coming off regular DAB in Jan 2024 and will only be available on DAB+ and FM.
Can anyone advise?

Re: Nav SD Card not recognised after car detailing

First thing I’d try would be to reset( reboot) the whole display. Hold Back, Nav and Mute for 10 seconds then release.

Re: Headlights and a question about first service

I had appalling headlight vision one night last winter. Checked it out the next morning and discovered the actual lights were completely caked with mud/dirt.

Re: Rusty Alloys

One or two pavements chips on the outer rim-yes-but no rust at all after 5 years.
Wheels get a weekly quick wash all over with a squirt of diluted washing up liquid well sponged around-then a rinse.
I must be doing something right
