Re: Brake fluid level

Thanks for these responses-so just to be absolutely clear-there is no benefit in topping up brake fluid to the max level if it is currently reading between the min and max?

Brake fluid level

On checking all fluid levels recently--noted that brake fluid was mid way between max and min. Isn't it better that this level is always at max ? what type should I use please?

Rear flexi brake pipes corroded

Had an observation/advisory from mechanic yesterday at 4th service ( 16500 miles)-" rear flexi brake pipes showing corrosion". No mention of this at mot done 2 months ago.
Anyone else had this? expensive to put right?

Re: CX3 Fuel pump recall

There must be 1000’s of us waiting for this recall?..has anybody had it?….has anybody suffered fuel pump issues?…who has had a notification from Mazda to get it “done”….Quite frankly what the hell is going on?

Re: CX3 Fuel pump recall

Keep wondering if this recall is a crashing bore for dealers or a commercially juicy “come on in” for all sorts of
other bizwoz?

Re: CX3 Fuel pump recall

The service advisor I spoke to last week said that they were currently working on CX5s "at the moment"--the CX3s "will follow". I have asked the dealership to contact me at their convenience to arrange to have this done. Fine by me as long as I don't get exposed to fuel pump issu...

Re: CX3 Fuel pump recall

Mine was due to be done on 9/3. It didn't happen. I rang dealership 8 weeks ago who booked and scheduled the recall work ( in conjunction with a service+MOT) . To DOUBLE check-I rang dealership day before on 8/3-who once again confirmed all that we had agreed two months earlier with a clearly listed...

Re: Concensus on Tyres ?

Now living in a rural area and never using motorways-I am constantly experiencing minor damage to tyre walls from branches, mini potholes and other A and B road debris. Am thinking of replacing all four tyres this spring and wondering what to get. Are there tyres with stronger walls than others I sh...
