I was sorry to read on the Mazda website that the CX-3 ceased production in September. I would have seriously considered one when I change my car in 2020 or 2021. You are correct when you say " the air in the car will still contain moisture that will condense on the windscreen if it gets cold" and that moisture may well come from the damp condenser coils which are in the car behind the dashboard near the heater.
