Wing Mirror Units
Hello, I've had a problem with my wing mirror not folding in, apparently there was a design flaw and water could get in and knacker the motors, I know some people got there's replaced by Mazda on a case by case basis. I've spoken to a auto electrician and he's suggested replacing the whole mirror wh...

Re: Passenger wing mirror not fully closing
Got it booked in for a diagnostic test on the 27th, it has started working again, even if its to do with weather conditions/low quality parts/poor design and is intermittent its not acceptable. I had a run out to York and and the thought of the wing mirror not opening for the return journey on the m...

Re: Passenger wing mirror not fully closing
A good idea is to spray connection to mirror with silicone spray, that prevent freezing. Sorry if I sound like a pleb, but what is spray connection or silicone spray? I've contacted Mazda UK, they've said I should take it to my local dealer and have a diagnostic check (90 quid for a hour max), if t...

Re: Passenger wing mirror not fully closing
Just phoned my local mazda dealer and the receptionist has just said she's taken lots of calls about exactly the same problem, 3 in the last hour alone, the last call was on a 18 plate CX-3.

Re: Passenger wing mirror not fully closing
We had some ice last week and some beginning of this week, I'm pretty sure my warranty ran out in Sept this year. The odd thing is that the wing mirror opens up fully if a little slower than the working drivers side. Its closing it that's the problem. Can you manually push in the wing mirror or am I...

Passenger wing mirror not fully closing
Hello, Yesterday I noticed that my passenger wing mirror won't close in when I use the controller. It moves in slightly and I can hear the motor whirring but then it halts and the whirring peters out. The adjusting the mirror option still works. I know the wing mirror hasn't been hit as it happened ...

Re: Gearbox a little clunky
Hello, Was just wondering has anyone noticed that the gearbox feels a little clunky, its not a smooth movement between gear moves, in particularly the 3rd and 4th gears, it just feels a little jerky, especially jumping from 5th-3rd and 6th- 4th. Not sure if its just me, or is it normal? Are you dou...

Re: Gearbox a little clunky
That's interesting, it was something I've only recently noticed from trying to get into 6th gear more to try and improve the MPG. So its not just me then, phew! So the glide into different gears is supposed to be a little jolty? Does anyone have any preferred tips? I find almost dropping it into neu...

Re: Istop not working
Mon-Fri 15 mins to work and 20 mins back home and Probs an hours drive on saturdays. Obviously recently with the cold weather I've had the heating etc on when required. Wondered what the 3 icons to the right of the istop not ready meant. Cheers According to the Owner's Manual [ :D ] a blue colour o...
