Re: stop start issue

Do not carry out the disconnecting of the bonnet close switch as suggested to disable the iStop function, as it will fully disable the security system of the car, if you have disconnected the switch you will notice that when you lock the car the hazard lights do not flash "ONCE" this means...

Re: Catalytic Coverter Thief

Re: I stop not working

I agree I was only stating that by charging the battery it doesn't mean that the istop will work, there are as I mentioned many parameters which have to be met to enable the istop operation.

Re: Safety Pack

You don't need even to open the car or start the car, the symbols which light up in the wing mirrors can easily be seen if the car has the safety pack fitted. Look at the top outside corner of the mirrors to seet the symbol.

As Julian says there are a lot of...

Re: CX3 Fuel pump recall

I was well informed that I must make sure that the tank was no more than 1/4 full which I made sure it was. No loss of fuel on the pump replacement, however even though it's quite a straight forward job just the removal of the rear seat base and reoval of a floor panel to gain access to the pump, ho...

Re: CX3 Fuel pump recall

Got a letter from Mazda UK advising to book my CX-3 in for the Fuel Pump recall work to be carried out, now booked in on the 27 June 2022, the service representative advised to make sure that the Petrol Tank must not be more than a 1/4 full.
