Re: Terraclean or Walnut Blast

Cannot comment on doing this on a Mazda but my partners Mini Clubman (car before CX3) had the walnut treatment Photos taken after showed the manifold looking like new and a noticeable improvement in the drive so can definately recommend this treatment.

I’ve just done mine. Two minute job, instructions are in the car manual. Cost £4.75 from eBay.

Re: Battery Charging

Considering it is such a modern car I am amazed at how much “old school” tech it has. For the past twenty years or so all my cars have had sealed unit batteries.

Cleaned the other half’s car the other day and dropped the bonnet forgetting it didn’t have gas struts, just an old fashioned prop!

Re: What did you do to your CX3 today

HS. Cleaned with Simoniz wash and Carnauba wax. Clayed with Farecla G3 mitt to get all the little tar spots and other surfactants off and then finished with Mer polish. The black plastic trims were given a light coating of tyre wall black. Pleased with the result, just wish we could give it a run be...

What did you do to your CX3 today

Given the current restrictions on movement and travel (and perhaps a bit of cabin fever) I thought I would start this thread for a bit of fun. Anyway, seeing as we’ve had such nice weather the past couple of days I took the opportunity of washing away all the winter grime from my other half’s CX3 an...

Auto central locking

Evening all.
Prior to buying the CX3 my partner had a Mini and one thing she liked was that on driving away the car doors automatically locked.
Does anyone know if this facility can be added to the CX3? This would certainly help her feel safer in the car.

Re: Sun visors

Thanks st3v3cx-3. Only just round to looking at this and the arm did move. Was a little bit reluctant to try to move it when I was driving but at least now I know it’s not some bad design!!

Sun visors

Evening all. I wonder whether other forum members have this problem. Drove my partners CX3 today but every time I put the sun visor down it knocked the rear view mirror. Only way to avoid this was to move the mirror so that I could only see through half the rear window. I tried pushing the dimmer sw...

Re: Aircon failures

Agree with what jtonline has suggested. This is what our filter looked like which was the cause of all our air con problems

Re: Forum members air con experience

The compressor was only replaced in Feb so won’t have had sufficient use to cause any long term damage. The bottom line is everything is working as it should. I drove it this morning for the first time since the new filter and everything works as it should. All credit to Mazda too as they have given...
