Re: Wing mirror paint

just an update Julian. I've been over to the Mazda dealer who has typically screwed the order up despite me emphasising many times shiny jet black. they received a matt machine grey cover instead. I'm to pick up the new cover on Thursday and let you know the outcome

You can buy a body colour mirror cover as a spare part from Mazda dealers for £36.75 + VAT. I didn't see any black ones on the parts catalogue though :| although they might with your VIN.
thanks, Julian ill let you know on Monday when I've spoken to them :)

OK, I think the paint is a solid colour rather than mica, and therefore my guess is that it's Brilliant Black A3F.
You may want to get Mazda to confirm that though ;)
thanks, Julian :)
and do you know if I can purchase just a new cover if needed?

Wing mirror paint

would anyone know the paint colour code for the black shiny plastic on the cx3 wing mirrors if there is one as there's a mark I'd like to get rid of? I guess someone passing the car and the mirror got marked by something
thanks

I don´t know the fabric , but know that Autosol Metal Polish https://www.thepolishingshop.co.uk/autosol-products makes it shine like the sun, and protect the surface.
thanks :)

chrome trims cx3?

does anyone know if the chrome trims on the cx3 are all chrome or some type of plastic? the reason I ask is that mine have pitted in places like under the doors and will need some sort of attention at some point. can anyone recommend some type of polish that may help?
thanks
