Re: Q85 battery replacement / I-stop.

With my 2016 CX3 I experienced the I-stop continually turning off permanently when the battery level dropped by a quarter to 3/4 charge. With my 2019 I pop it onto automatic charge when it is likely not to be used with in a 3 week period or more. On charge throughout lock down, no problems. There ar...

Re: Adaptive cruise control on CX-3?

I have both std cruise and adaptive cruise on my 2019 CX3, came as standard equipment in all Mazda's, but the Mazda 2 in NZ. I see it is now in the top model Mazda 2 also. Adaptive is far better than Honda's rendition. I always use it in preference to the std cruise. No more switching on and off wit...

Check the date of the article, then go to a UK dealer and guess no more!

Re: The end of the CX3?

Right now information in NZ is vague of the CX30. As vague as any pricing levels and no model range has been announced yet. I'm guessing that there are likely to be 3 models initially and then a 4th will be added latter which will be the new engine and loaded with all manner of driving aids and sun ...

Re: The end of the CX3?

I have come to the opinion that people that buy the CX3 and then complain about the size wash their steads too much causing shrinkage! My mate constantly complained until I asked him had he washed his CX3 lately to cause it to shrink from when he demonstrated it and purchased it. Strangely he no lon...

Re: Turn off i-Stop Permanently?

I found 2 ways of turning it off permanently. Have the dealer do it. When the battery gets down to around 3/4 charge it shuts off the i stop permanently. Discovered this on a 2016 when left parked up for awhile. Simple for the dealer to reactivate via their computer. It doesn't reactivate by it's se...

Re: Front dash vents done stay put.

They slowly work their way down every time they are left up. No friction or resistance to their movement. I can only defrost the door cards not the windows unless I hold them in place. I had the same problem with a 1999 MX5 but that had more than a few months on it. The chances are it will be flicke...

Front dash vents done stay put.

I find it impossible to set the dash vents in any position and have then stay there. The vehicle is a couple of months old so would have expected them to stay put. Any quick fixes or am I going to be bitching at the dealer?

Re: Forum members air con experience

I guess I'd be wondering if the previously mentioned parts were actually changed or were they changed like the pollen filter. Has the oil filter been changed at service time along with the pollen filter! The mind boggles at what might or might not have been done. At least now you have a service cent...
