Re: Car “sometimes” won’t open and “sometimes” won’t start!
Not heard of anything like this before on here. I would change the coin battery on your key fob, check that your 12V battery is in good condition and if you have a scan tool check for any fault codes. This sounds a bit more complicated than the usual minor electrical gremlins that are caused as the ...

Re: First car… CX-3 2018
Sorry, I don't know if it works. Not sure if anyone else on here has done the upgrade themselves or had it dealer fitted who can confirm if this works. I don't think AA/CP was factory fit until about 2019/2020.

Re: Its snowing - Glad I have All Seasons
Good recommendation, thanks. I've got the Toyo Gripless fitted on my CX-3. Car abandoned at the bottom of a hill due to an inch of snow. It says 4WD on the back of my car but you could have fooled me. Used to have a Q3 Quattro with Michelin Cross-Climates. Used to soar up that hill, muttering 'Snow...

Re: Screen delamination MZD connect.
Yes, my screen is gradully delaminating top middle edge, asked Mazda and they said the cost would be over £1K to replace screen - I declined! Not too bothered to tell you the truth. I wasn't too bothered when I thought it would be big bucks to fix but it still annoyed me every time I drove the car....

Re: LED DRL
Non working LED DRLs (or less than 50% of bulbs in one light working) are an MOT failure. Personally, I would be looking to obtain a replacement from a breaker or eBay to fix it and stay road legal. It looks like the headlights are sealed units and the LEDs cannot be replaced separately. From the CX...

Re: stop start issue
Sounds like maybe you need a new battery if you are wanting the S/S to work properly. The S/S not working on our car was the first sign that battery needed changing. At 7 years old the battery has had a decent life and even slight degradation can prevent the S/S from working. As a last role of the d...

Re: 1.5d cx3 bad fuel consumption?
This seems a bit low to me. This is the equivalent of 37 miles per gallon. Fuel consumption will depend on your usage. If you are doing only short journeys in low winter temperatures, then the engine will not be operating efficiently. In normal use 45-50 mpg (16-18 KM/L) seems about right. Causes of...
