Sounds like bad luck to me. How many miles has your car done and how much is the likely cost to replace the head?

Re: I-stop flashing.

I replaced mine with a Varta N72 from Tayna batteries that was delivered next day for £122. It even had the bonus of two handles compared to the old GS battery which makes lifting 16.7Kg a bit easier. I did not use a temporary power source and it seems only that the trip meter and expected range ha...

Re: Cx3 1.5 diesel engine light

Unless you bought the car privately then I would be going back to the vendor to complain and try and get them to fix it. Print out the above TSB so their mechanic can check the relevant areas.

Please report back with how you get on and what the issue was to grow the knowledge base on here.

Re: Windscreen Washer Pump Replacement

If the bumper on the Cx-3 is the same as the Mazda 2 then it's pretty easy to remove. From memory remove all screws that attach the bumper to the undertray and wheel arch liners. Then pull out both corners of the bumper where they meet the wheel arches and then firmly pull the whole bumper out forwa...

Re: Mazda cx-3 radiator fan switch?

Hello, Yesterday on my mazda cx-3 2.0 petrol, first time I saw engine temperature 104°C. I opened bonnet and fan radiator not work. At what degree should the fan be turned on? I'm afraid something is wrong. Coolant level is ok. At that moment I did not get any message on the display. Also, the red ...

Re: Should the alarm have triggered???

I guess this would depend on the actual alarm fitted. Some have sensors which detect movement in the cabin if a window is smashed. Some have tilt sensors in case some skilled tea leaves decide they want to load your pride and joy on to a recovery truck. I believe impact damage will only set off cert...

Re: Security key light

Just had this happen to me for the first time (that I am aware of) after almost 8 years of ownership. Never noticed it before but the red key warning light continued to flash until I turned off the engine when I reached my destination. Not sure of the purpose really? Keys are always placed on the ru...

Re: Cx3 1.5D 2015 02 sensor

Are you sure it's an 02 sensor? I thought most diesels don't have 02 sensors .There is an inlet air temp sensor on the manifold and exhaust gas temp sensor on the pre chamber to the DPF.

What actual problems are you suffering from? What diagnostic tool are you using and what fault codes do you have?

Speaker interference

Recently I have noticed the offside front tweeter in our car has started to buzz intermittently. I had intended on replacing it but realised that we had a telematics tile fitted in the car a few months ago. I was now wondering if this could be causing the speaker interference? The device itself if 3...

Re: Car “sometimes” won’t open and “sometimes” won’t start!

Not heard of anything like this before on here. I would change the coin battery on your key fob, check that your 12V battery is in good condition and if you have a scan tool check for any fault codes. This sounds a bit more complicated than the usual minor electrical gremlins that are caused as the ...
