Re: Rear Parking Sensor Pushed in
I was able to sort it out. turned into a quick 5 minute job once I looked under the bumper  I removed a plastic bar which sits at the bottom under the exhausts. It was held in with just 2 push pins. This gave me enough room to reach up and push the sensor back into place. It had a very subtle c...

Re: Rear Seat Belt Retract - 65plate
Just to update on this. I had the seat belt replaced. It was covered under the Mazda's Goodwill scheme. I contacted Mazda UK directly. They confirmed with myself directly that they will accept it on the goodwill scheme and to take it to my local dealer. Which I did, the dealer asked to see the email...

Rear Parking Sensor Pushed in
I've just been out to my car and was greeted with a set of beeps. 1 long beep followed by 4 short ones. I believe this is an indicator that there is a fault with the parking sensors. I hopped out and check and I saw that one of the sensors had been pushed into the bumper by about half a centimetre. ...

Rear Seat Belt Retract - 65plate
Hi all, Anyone else had an issue where one or both of the rear seat belts don't retract properly or not at all? I had this issue yesterday, but as my car is a 65 plate and I bought it through a private dealer, Mazda wants to charge me £275 + Service fee to get it fixed. Am I the only one who thinks ...

Re: I stop engine light will not light
^ do that lol. I've only had my cx-3 for a few months. The iStop is the most finicky thing in it. The engine bit used to be an issue for me, but I realised this can happen if you are stopped on an incline, your engine is slightly too hot or cold - but not enough to trip the overheat sensor etc. So I...

Re: lock warning light
Could be that the battery in the key fob is running low. I only ever see that symbol come on if the key isn't in the car, but reading the notes for "KEY indicator light (green)" it states that the key may be shown as red if the battery is low, the key is not within operational range, the k...

Re: Replace rear windscreen wiper rubber
Just going to add this on here. The rear wiper blades can also be scaled up. You can get the 12" version and it still fits. I recently did it with the below wiper from Halfords (same as the one linked by JT above, just slightly longer). It still leaves plenty of clearance at the top, just helps...

Re: Instrument cluster (Tachometer) Screen Flickers and Freezes
Hi guys, Yes the flickering has been resolved. I did look around to see if there was a company that would reprogram it, but everyone I've asked said they can't do Mazda cars. The stickers a good idea. I'll have to take a look and see if they placed one somewhere. The garage just advised me to keep t...

Re: Instrument cluster (Tachometer) Screen Flickers and Freezes
Just thought I'd update on this. I got the car back earlier this week. They tested the cables etc, but no dice. In the end, the whole instrument cluster had to be swapped out. Curiously though, the odometer (mileage) wasn't reprogrammed. So it states on the instrument cluster it's only done 140ish m...

Re: Sat Nav Favourites - Voice Commands
Yea I found that going via the favourites is the best route. I'm surprised "common favourites" like work haven't been programmed into it, just like how "home" is. The car's actually back with the dealer at the moment as I'm having a weird issue with the Tachnometer display freezi...
