What if I make a mistake and the car catches fire? How does my passenger escape?

This may or may not be connected but a few weeks ago I lost the speed limit signs on the pop up screen in the cabin. I went into the settings to see what might be the problem but didn't change anything. The speed limit sign came back a little while later. Main A and B roads so not off map.
