Re: Locked in the car - not battery problem.

Ah thanks. I didn't realise I could do this. I'll get the manual out again.

Re: Locked in the car - not battery problem.

What if I make a mistake and the car catches fire? How does my passenger escape?

Re: Locked in the car - not battery problem.

This may or may not be connected but a few weeks ago I lost the speed limit signs on the pop up screen in the cabin. I went into the settings to see what might be the problem but didn't change anything. The speed limit sign came back a little while later. Main A and B roads so not off map.

Locked in the car - not battery problem.

My husband was locked in the car yesterday and I can't work out why. I changed the battery on both key fobs in May this year (I have only owned the car since March 2020). Yesterday we stopped to get petrol. We both got out of the car and I had the key in my pocket. He went inside to buy a paper and ...

Re: What's That Part Called?

I still haven't driven the car in the dark so I've no idea what they look like lit. When they finally lift the lockdown it'll be like having a whole new car experience.

Re: What's That Part Called?

A quick follow-up to this. I called the dealership when they opened and they replaced both (the other one was faulty as well) free of charge as the fault was there when I collected the car immediately before lockdown started. The service person said it looked like someone had tried to change the bul...

Tyre Pressure Low - No Warning Light

I thought my front near side tyre looked a bit low so I tested it and found it was down to 18.5. I checked the other front tyre and that was down to 21.5. I thought there was a warning light that would come on when the pressures were too low? I've only owned the car for about five weeks and as we've...

Re: What's That Part Called?

Ah, found it online for a bargainous £51.00. Not.

No wonder they didn't replace it before I bought it. My fault for not going over the car with a fine tooth comb but we had to do it at a 2m distance.

Do you think if I bought it it would be easy to fit or should I just leave it to an expert?

What's That Part Called?

When I open the boot, next to the handle depression that allows you to close the boot without losing a fingernail there is a small light, there is one either side of the door catch. I think they are to illuminate the number plate. They have clear plastic covers. One of mine is missing the plastic co...
