Re: Howling noise from engine
I got mine fixed in the end. Never found the time to get it back into the dealer and had to get it serviced so got the local garage who I've used for years to do it. They changed the fuel filter as part of the service and no noise since. Mine had previously had the bubbles measured and the pump repl...

Re: Mazda CX-3 iStop - problem or no problem?
I've saved about a quarter of a tank of fuel in 35,000 miles. I wonder how much shorter the life of the starter motor will be due to all those starts. I'm totally unconvinced by this technology.

It's to do with the fuel system according to the dealer, and as for living with it it shouldn't do it so why? The dealers have admitted it shouldn't do it. I'll try to video it so you can see if it's the same noise because it's got much more frequent in last few weeks.

Re: Howling noise from engine
Quick update on this. Car went in to be sorted ages ago and it didn't stop the noise. I left the dealers with them saying they would contact Mazda and ask for further instruction. After hearing nothing I rang a few weeks ago and they want the car back in to record the noise again but Ive been too bu...

Re: Brakes
You've got more knowledge/experience than me then when it comes to the technology but I've always found an improvement by buying sport oriented pads like ferodo ds2500. Here in rural east Yorkshire the roads are twisty and you use your brakes a lot, I have easily cooked them on nearly every car I've...

Brakes
Anyone know if the brake calipers are shared with other Mazda models? I need new pads but not many manufacturers list them for the cx3 yet
