Your car is a 2016 so battery probably needs changing, don't seem to last as long as they used to.. Low battery will cause weird things on the car. As for stop start, I switch it off, I don't like it and it kills batteries.

I'd heard some horror stories about changing the filter but after watching the mechanic change the filter there's not much to it. I was a bit worried about changing the filter myself so i took it to my local garage (Not mazda), They just unscrewed the old filter and caught he excess diesel that was in the filter, It was black,, screwed new fiter on and started the engine which cut out after about a minute, Cracked it over and ...

DOT 4... Check to make sure there are no leaks in the system. Fluid Level drops with brake pad wear.

Don't forget the general ruling of all major tyre manufacturers is that if you are only fitting two tyres then you need to fit them to the rear i.e. in your case it means switching the current rears to the front and put the new tyres on the rear. Doesn't matter, Phoned insurance company and was told it would have an affect on the policy price, It would increase, Now there's a surprise
