It is not advisable to put the engine into gear until the blure tempreture goes out...

Re: Finally got Apple CarPlay today

That's interesting Gus. I wonder if Waze will tweak the colours in a future version, as you can't be the only user to have found that. Or make it so you can download different colour schemes.

Re: Finally got Apple CarPlay today

...Just a slight glance down and the information percolates into my consciousness... Fair enough. But I find it's not significantly less of a 'slight glance down' than it is to look at the digital speedo figures. The time spent with my focus off the road ahead is the same. A true head up display ov...

Re: Finally got Apple CarPlay today

It may be because I'm tall, but I find the Active Display (HUD) on mine nothing but a novelty. Because it's not in my line of sight, I have to look down anyway so I may as well look at the speedometer or MZD Connect screen. Plus the sat nav voice instructions make the navigation symbols redundant IM...

Re: Traffic sign recognition (TSR)

I have an issue with mine. If the speed sign is obscured by trees or just not recognised by the camera it takes about a quarter of a mile before the sat nav realises and changes the HUD to the correct sign. I've got the excess speed warning bleeps set to +5 MPH and it's very annoying when they keep...

Re: Sat Nav history function

Good news. Fingers crossed for you. As I understand it, 70.xxx should only be installed if you also have the updated USB module fitted, which is why they have both OS versions available for download.

Re: Mazda CX-3 Vs Kia Sorento Vs Skoda Kodiaq?

With snow drifts this deep on the roads into work in March, I had to stay at home until the tractors managed to dig a way through

Re: Mazda CX-3 Vs Kia Sorento Vs Skoda Kodiaq?

Welcome to the forums. I don't know the Kia Sorento or Skoda Kodiaq. Have you considered the Mazda CX-5? 1) The CX-3 AWD model has good handling and, with winter tyres fitted, does a pretty good job in the snow. But it's not a true SUV off-road vehicle and has its limitations. 2) I have bad back iss...

Re: blue coolant light

It's a bit pointless really; what's important is the same symbol that will flash or light up RED if the engine is ever overheating (see page 7-51 of Owner's Manual).
