Re: Tyre and Alloy Insurance

I bought a policy administered by Premia Solutions Ltd., through the Mazda dealer at the time of buying the car (£260 for 36 month term). It did cover diamond cut alloys, although a lot of policies don't. I didn't need any alloy repairs during the life of the policy, but I did make a £122 claim for ...

Re: Windscreen replacement

Bear this in mind, Autoglass and other windscreen companys will not use genuine replacements, although they will be produced to the same standard maybe in the same factory. When you ring your insurer if your vehicle is less than 12 Months old you can insist on a genuine Mazda replacement being used...

Re: Windscreen replacement

… Whats the best route please? I should think that depends on your insurer and your policy. Have a look at your insurance policy documents or your insurer's website. Mine says to contact Autoglass directly - https://help.lv.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/28/~/if-i-have-a-claim-for-windscreen-damage%2C...

Re: Mazda MZD firmware 70.00.100

The only difference from v70 to v59 is AA/Car play integration. You should see it infotainment app menu now. Now that I have OS 70.00.100 installed, I've discovered that as well as Apple Car Play / Android Auto, it also pauses USB & CD music when you mute the speakers. Something that has been lacki...

Re: FFC

… not noticed the headlamps turning either, I'll have to check them some time 8-) . If you have the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) that adjusts the LED headlights left or right in conjunction with the operation of the steering wheel, the feature may be switched off. You can switch the feature...

Re: FFC

I finally have given up. My local dealership, under instruction from Mazda UK, have had my CX3 twice to try and make sense of non functioning adaptive headlights (apart from bending round corners that is) , non functioning road sign recognition and very erratic lane departure warning... I don't hav...

Re: CarPlay finally

I don't think you can do it by just removing the CD player, because the hub is held tightly by clips on its top and bottom surfaces; but give it a try. I was impatient and also didn't have any CD player removal keys ;) You won't be able to reach the back of the hub just by removing the glovebox, but...
