Re: Rear Wiper Blade...

I've not done it, yet, but I'm led to believe that you can go from the standard 10" (e.g. Bosch H250) to a 12" (e.g. Bosch H306).

Re: Lane departure warning.

I've turned mine off and put a square of black insulating tape over the warning light on the instrument panel (the active display icon changes anyway so I know if it's on or off). When mine is on it beeps or rumbles, it's one or the other not both. Are you sure the beeping is LDWS?

Re: Luggage / tie hooks - are there any?

...Out of interest I did see what looked like a pair of those loops on the inside of rear raised section of the boot but didn't try to mess with them in case they were something completely different... Re: Luggage / tie hooks - are there any?

🐕 Hopefully just whilst you're driving it & not for the whole day 😀 Ha ha, yes. It just stops him launching himself out of the boot into the road when I open the tailgate once we've arrived somewhere, because he forgets what the command 'stay' means if he spots something interesting like a squirrel...

Re: Luggage / tie hooks - are there any?

There is one on each side of the boot - see Cargo Securing Loops on page 5-152 of the Owner's Manual.
I use one every day to secure my dog.

Re: infotainment battery

If it's the symbol at top right-hand end of the screen next to the clock, that's the battery status of your connected mobile phone.
The MZD Connect infotainment system doesn't have a battery.
