It's a mystery to me too hsdejong.
I drive around most of the time with LDWS off (although the orange 'off' warning light in the instrument panel then niggles me) because it frequently false alarms otherwise.

Fair enough. Breakdown recovery maybe. The sealant stuff is a bit of a faff because you've got to remove the valve stem from the tyre, then inject the sealant, then put the valve stem back in again etc., etc., and it'll only ever seal a small hole in the tread portion of the tyre.

Yep, the space saver wheel is 16" diameter and the recommended tyre size is T125/90D16 98M. When fitted, you should only drive at max. 50mph for the shortest distance possible. It's not a recall.
From the TSB (although I note it's for CX-5 not CX-3):
"When you receive a customer complaint on this concern, repair it by ordinary paint rust/blister damage repair procedure." under warranty.
