Re: Goodbye

I was very happy with the Mazda other than a couple of niggles, the hard ride, small boot and poor performance of the climate control. The diesel engine took an age to heat up and around town I was usually at my destination before the cabin started to heat up. For that reason I loved the heated seat...

Goodbye

Goodbye to you all and the Mazda CX3 - I traded my car in yesterday for a VW T-Cross First Edition. Very similar in size but a bigger boot, connectivity and other features far more advanced than the new CX3.

Re: Diesel in Engine Oil

Mine were replaced under warranty with the car in its 3rd year and approximately 10,000 miles. I don't have a record as Mazda don't provide written records of warranty work.

Re: Air con

I have never been given any paper record of any work undertaken under warrantee, when asked I was told it's held on the car records database at Mazda. They are happy to give you a paper record of annual services you pay for. I have kept copies of the recall letters I have been sent, but no recalls i...

Re: Air con

Why do they need to keep the car for 3 weeks? It should be drivable. They have never done anything different in my experience, it would appear, crazy as it is, that in spite of all the A/C problems they have had they don't have stock parts in the UK.

Re: Aircon failures

I had the same issues and had to insist that they replace the control panel in order to get the A/C working correctly after condenser and evaporator replacement. I have never been impressed with the climate controls ability to adequately control the cabin temperature.
