Re: Can't chill out

All After numerous issues with the reliability of my CX3 (faulty a/con, head up display and lane change warning camera) I have reached a painful decision that the car now needs to go. For a car that is just 1 year old I no longer have any faith in this model even though the service dealership have b...

Re: Air Con fail and fix

I would be interested to know what dealer you have been using deep blue ?

Are they located in London / South East as mine has to go back in again for a cloudy head up display ?

Re: Air Con fail and fix

The service guys working on your car need to recharge your ac again with a dye which when used with a uv light show where the leak(s) are coming from. As long as there is no ac component failure it can only therefore then be a leak. It ain't rocket science for them to fix it. The dealer I used found...

Re: Air Con fail and fix

Had the same issue recently with a defective ac on my 8 month old CX-3. The Mazda service dealer I used to get it checked was not the one I bought the car from but after an inspection they found a leak on the condenser unit and told me it needed a replacement. After waiting 4 weeks for the part to a...

Re: Can't chill out

Thanks Graham Not happy about the situation on such a new car. For info they used a UV pen light to detect the leak as there is a dye in the a/c fluid which then glows to show them where the leak is when the U/V light shines on the area (needs to be dark to work). They have agreed to supply a Mazda ...

Re: Can't chill out

Hi All Brief update on the a/c issue after a visit to the main dealer service department today. Fault found was due to a loss of a/c fluid caused by a leak on the condenser unit at the bottom front of the car. Interestingly it only took the mechanic less than 10 mins to let me know what the issue wa...

Re: Can't chill out

Hi Graham Welcome to the forum. After reading your post I checked my a/c and think it is not working as well - I have also noted over the last day or so that the istop function has also suddenly stopped cutting the engine off as well. Coincidence or what ! Hope this is not going to be a reliability ...

Re: Winter Boots

Thanks Gus Interesting enough after having checked the tyre pressures all 4 were actually down by about 4-6 psi (should have been fronts 33 - rear 30 psi with one to three up). Have now adjusted all 4 (remembering to re calibrate the TPMS after) and taken a test drive and pleased to say the ride now...

Re: Winter Boots

Hi I'm new to the forum and have had my CX3 PETROL SPORTS NAV (2WD) IN MICA BLACK for about 6 weeks now but have not had the chance to do many miles in it yet. Whilst it is early days and from what I have experienced so far it appears to be a good car, I have noticed that the ride on occasion can fe...
