Re: Towing
Thanks BWJ. I am aware of the theory; just wondered if anyone had real world experience of towing with the CX3.

Towing
Taking delivery of an Adria Action caravan in April. Gross weight with allowance is 1100kg which is within limits for the CX3. Just wondering if anybody here had any experience of towing with this car. Main concerns are lack of luggage space as our dog will take up the boot! Most people seem to use ...

Firmware Update
Just checked my firmware version which is in the 560 range which seems way out of date. It had its first service in February but nobody mentioned updating the firmware. Does this mean I have to book it in to get an update or wait until next service (probably next February).?

Bonnet Shut Lines
Only noticed it after the condenser was changed but the alignment of the bonnet with one of the wings (n/s) and the front panel above the grill is well out. I don’t think the dealer is to blame. Probably like it from the factory but I tried for a couple of hours to resolve it today and whilst it is ...

Re: And So It Begins ...
Thanks JT. Not sure if the shut lines were always a bit out across the front but I’m sure I would have noticed it when cleaning. Is there any way of adjusting anything to realign?

Re: And So It Begins ...
Had the condenser replaced at the dealer in Yeovil today. Air con seems okay now but I was upset when I was checking the car over at home when I noticed that the bonnet shut lines across the front were well out. I spent an hour or two adjusting what I could (height of catch and slight adjustment of ...

Re: And So It Begins ...
Is the evaporator failure a given? If so, I might suggest the dealer does that at the same time.

Re: And So It Begins ...
Update: Took it to Mazda agent in Yeovil today. Was told it would take two hours as they would need to charge system, add dye and check for leaks. Turns ot Mazda now add dye in the factory so a quick shine of the UV light through the front grille revealed a major leak from the condenser. Part ordere...

Re: And So It Begins ...
My car is just one year old with 7k on the clock. As was said, it’s not the fact that components fail, it’s that Mazda know about the fault but have done little to prepare for the high demand of the part so we are left waiting for weeks for the replacement. Not good enough.
