Re: New car from outside my dealers own stock. Questions to ask.

I'll second that. Was really disappointed when I collected my new cx3 to find such a dull lifeless interior missing the red leather and bezel to vents ☹️

Re: Check Engine Light and loss of power

TBH if EML is illuminated followed by lack of revs I'd say you are in limp home mode. Need the source of EML problem sorted.

Re: Petrol pump clicking off

I managed 495 miles, with 12 left on the range, but it only took 42 litres Disappointed as I wanted to crack the 500 mile range.... That is really good going. I haven't got as near to the 500 mark as you. I'll have up my game 😀 I'm a little annoyed. I picked up new replacement cx3 sport nav auto pe...

Re: Car Servicing & Steering Wheel change

My last CX3 steering wheel was starting to peel but I defo don't use any hand lotion and rarely use aftershave or similar products. It's a manufacturer / material issue

Re: Dual Mass Flywheel kaput after 39000 miles

there are big issues with the CX3 that Mazda need to sort such as? While I sympathize. I along with many others I know have had to replace a duel mass flywheel along with clutch at around 50k. It's pretty commonn and not unique to Mazda. Virtually all diesels have them now for better experience. Wh...

Re: Newbie from Nottingham saying Hi

I think you will be well pleased. I kept my MGTF convertible when I bought cx3 petrol auto and to be honest I have hardly turned a wheel in MGTF since I got it. In reality it has all the power you could usefully use and the handling is engaging believe it or not. On balance it is just so much more a...

Re: Changed my 2017 cx3

Hi Gordon, I also upgraded from a 2017 to a 2019 model. Can't say that I noticed any difference in the engine, probably because I went from manual to auto. The 2019 model has different suspension as well as the G vectoring, which as you say, make a tremendous improvement in the refinement. I actual...

Changed my 2017 cx3

The new 2019 model I just got in machine grey is a major improvement on my previous 2017 cx3 sport. I thought I was just getting a colour change and some new gadgets. The engine on paper is only 1hp up but must be remapped as is is so much more perky at low revs. I read somewhere that engine frictio...

Yup. PC society while nice in principle has handcuffed the law and goes some way to explain a generation where young have less respect for others, parents and the law. I know cops who will say as much.

Re: New here with some questions!

The leaking a/c condenser was replaced under warranty at the first annual service in 2017. No problems with the new one so far. I average over 43mpg in everyday motoring, which I consider to be pretty good for a 2.0L petrol automatic. Sounds about right. My average is just under 45mpg over almost 2...
