Re: My Roof Racks Arrived Today :-)

Thanks, yeah very pleased with them and also impressed how quiet they are. The ones I had for my previous car where so noisy I ended up removing them when they weren't needed. With these I just leave on permanently.

Re: USB stick size and format?

I have been using a 32Gb USB3 drive in mine for some time and don't seem to be having these issues. I have approx. 18Gb of music on there and normally leave it plugged in to the USB 2 slot. If I switch off during a track and then start up again the next day it will pick up where it left off from wit...

Re: Colour and model choices

A while ago on the CX3forum.com site I seem to remember a couple of threads concerning the poor paint quality and how weak it is. There was one guy who seemed to so pissed off with it, that he was taking the issue up with Mazda directly. He also said that a Mazda representative had admitted to him t...

Re: Touch up paint and stone chips

Back in the days when I owned a red 323 I wasn't very impressed with the Mazda touch up paint supplied. It seemed very thick and was difficult, if not impossible to blend in properly. The chipex method looks, on the face of it, a better way of blending the layers of paint in. Let us know Gus how you...

Re: Touch up paint and stone chips

Is it very noticeable when done? Just a bit wary of tackling the door scratches in case they stand out like a sore thumb!

Thanks for the TSB's anchorman, at least I don't have to go searching for them.

Re: AirCon Issues

Will be interesting to see how you get on, and how careful they are with taking the console apart!

Installed my Whispbars last summer, mainly for carrying my bikes. Replaced the gutter strips with the ones with cutouts so I didn't have to drill holes in the original ones.

Re: Colour and model choices

I would totally agree Rockposer. I have a couple of chips on the front pillars and also on the bonnet. Only done just under 7000 miles in 15 months.

Touch up paint and stone chips

Just wondered if anyone can recommend a decent touch up paint for Soul red paint. I have a couple of very short scratches down to the primer on my drivers door courtesy of some twat in the M&S car park! Very annoying. :x There are also 3 or 4 small stone chips, some down to bare metal, on the fr...
