Think it`s more of an issue with the light sensor randomly turning the headlights off.
Good point, just turn them off/on manually and see what happens.

Re: Air Con leak

As St3v3cx-3 says, it was not a recall, it was a TSB details of which were put on this site. I had my condenser changed under warranty because of a leak caused by poor quality material.

Re: Air Con leak

There was a problem with dodgy condensers on early models. Cheap Chinese copper or aluminium coils. I don't think R1234yf affects the hoses any more than R134a does. I would ask a Mazda dealer to look at it. If it is faulty materials Mazda may well contribute towards the costs even if it is outside ...

Re: Mazda part exchange

Hi fourbanks! You may find this helpful. I was offered a part exchange for a CX-30 from Hendy at Tunbridge Wells. My CX-3 is the same age as yours (3 years old January) and done 9,000 miles. This was their offer :- Further to our earlier conversation please find attached a full quotation for the CX-...

Re: New CX-3 owner - just sayin' hello!

Hi and welcome to the forums. Like you my daily drives used to be diesel manuals. The first CX-3 I bought was a manual, but decided I would go for an auto when I upgraded. I have got used to the auto now, although I sometimes put it in sport mode and manual and use the paddles, just for a bit fun.

If you use the other button/stalk to the top left of the instrument panel it will change both between km & miles. Or at least it does on my model.
Yes that works on mine too.

Re: Automatic headights

I always check to make sure it is NOT in 'auto'. I think it is far to dangerous. Driving at dusk I went under some trees and a bridge. My lights were on auto and so they switched on. The driver waiting in a side turning thought I was indicating for him to pull out, so he did. I did manage to stop in...
