Hi I had to take my 65 plate CX3 in for the diesel software upgrade and asked them to have a look at the 2 rear alloys as they had white marks on them (the black and silver 18" wheels). As its nearing the end of its warranty i thought i would be fobbed off but after they took pics and submitted...

Started with a noise which was coming every 20-30 seconds for about 4 seconds duration and it went in to the dealer and they changed the filter and ok for a few months. I have just had this issue last week. Wont accelerate but car doesnt stall. Dealer had it and has changed the fuel filter all now OK. Have to say that in 19k miles i have done in my 1.5 cx3 diesel, it has had 3 fuel filters and a modified fuel filter housing replaced due to various issues. Not feeli...

It is indeed air in the fuel filter air. I have had it on my diesel CX3 and it drove me mad for weeks. It's funny how your ear can tune in to a certain noise and seem to amplify it My local dealer had to contact Japan to get a fix but changed the fuel filter assembly and all ok
