Re: Alloy pedal covers.

There is a good reason why pedals covers are rubber. It minimises the risk of your feet slipping off them.
How many people would even want to look at their pedals? They are functional not decorative.

Re: LED light bulbs.

There is nothing new about inaccessible instrument panel lights. Years ago my wife ran an elderly Citroen ZX which had two instrument bulbs, one illuminating the speedometer and fuel gauge, the other the rev counter and temperature gauge. Needless to say, it was the speedometer one which failed. I c...

Re: What updates for the New 2019 CX3 would you like.

There is a button behind the switch that you press when you have started the engine and from then on the brake is actuated by the pressure on the foot brake and released by the accelerator. Auto Hold............It takes some getting used to but I use it all the time now. Just dab the brake when you...

Re: horn

I have heard louder horns on a pedal car. The horn is supposed to sound a warning, not an apology.

Re: Dark cabin

Even in daylight, most modern car interiors are a depressing sea of black and dark grey unless you pay a lot extra for leather. Time was when interiors were colour co-ordinated with the bodywork, and as standard, but then the cost accountants decided that you could have any colour so long as it was ...

Re: New member...to purchase or not ?

The failing condensers seem to have been a faulty batch. Mine was found to be leaking at the first service in June 2017, but the "improved" replacement has been trouble free so far. As with any a/c it is important to use it regularly all the year round, otherwise the lubricant falls out of suspensio...

Re: I thought theft was theft !

When David Cameron became prime Minister in 2010 he promised "an end to political correctness". Needless to say this did not happen, but the politicians don't care because they know that most of the electorate have very short memories. My proposed solution to the crime epidemic is a drastic one whic...

Re: ACTIVE ADAPTIVE SHIFT ( AAS)

I am happy to leave the transmission in Drive and let it decide what gear is most suitable. It copes well without any interference from me. Mazda has designed one of the best automatic gearboxes on the market. Why try to override it? If I wanted to select gears manually I would have bought a manual,...

Re: Paint and Rust

The water based paints used on cars nowadays is not as durable as the solvent based paints. It's not just a Mazda issue. I wonder is the new Soul Red is any better than the old one? I see the difference between modern water based paint and traditional cellulose every time I go into my garage, where...

Re: I thought theft was theft !

If the Police were allowed to keep the money raised by speed cameras, they might be able to redirect it into investigation work. In Somerset the Police withdrew from the speed camera partnership because they had to bear the cost of maintaining the fixed camera network whilst receiving none of the pr...
