Re: premium v regular unleaded

I use Morrisons Regular in all my cars and have done for years. As for engine noise, I cannot hear any as it is is drowned out by the road noise, which ruins the driving experience. and the repeated droning of the same point :D haven't you changed your tyres yet  The only droning is from the ...

Re: Extended Warranty - when did Mazda contact you?

I normally keep a car for 7 or 8 years, then buy a new one for cash and sell the old one privately.
I appreciate that not everyone can afford to do this, but it works for me.

Re: Extended Warranty - when did Mazda contact you?

...My 3 year pre-paid Service Plan is also expiring, and EMaC emailed me to call them on 0330 099 6801 and renew it. I dialled the number twice and got the "number not recognised" message each time... The EMaC website says their customer service centre 'phone number is 0330 099 6826 Mon–Fri 8am to ...

Re: Extended Warranty - when did Mazda contact you?

Mazda's 3 year warranty is looking increasingly uncompetitive these days, when 5 or even 7 years is available elsewhere. This could be interpreted as showing a lack of confidence in the long term reliability of their cars, or perhaps Mazda just wants to make more money from the sale of extended warr...

Re: Gearbox a little clunky

Why put up with the mechanical crudity of a manual gearbox and friction clutch, when Mazda's 6 speed torque converter automatic is one of the best in the business? Give your left foot a rest and enter the 21st century. You will never want to go back to a manual.

Re: Services Cost

This subject has come up several times before, and yes, £319.00 seems expensive. I took out a 3 year Service Plan with Eden Mazda, Taunton. Total cost £560.70. The third service is due in July, when I will consider whether to extend the Service Plan and/or the warranty. A 3 year warranty is not exac...

Re: Tyres oem or another brand

Whats the issue with the Bridgestones ? Our CX3 has them ( Turanzas) Thanks Personally, I've had them on other vehicles (Bridgestone Potenzas), they last for ages because they are fairly hard, but because of their hardness they were awfully noisy - something the CX-3 can well do without, at least t...

Please keep us posted as to how you get on with your new steed compared to the CX-3.
I second that request. My next car is likely to be a Citroen, now that they have introduced their Advanced Comfort suspension system.

I find some pumps click off very easily, others don't, when they do I just reduce the flow on the trigger and can then fill it to the brim
I do the same, and never have a problem filling right up.
