Re: Istop warning!

Never been an issue for me either. I turn the silly gimmick OFF before every trip. I bet you believe that global warming is a myth as well  I cover less than 5000 miles a year on mostly rural roads, so for me the annoyance of i-Stop outweighs any minimal saving in emissions. The real emission...

Re: Cancelling sat nav route

How glad I am that I bought an SE without the built in sat nav. No such problems with my trusty Garmin, which I can move from car to car.

Re: Auto box

My car is garaged, and I put the gearbox into Park before GENTLY applying the handbrake. Any stiffness when moving the gear lever out of Park is less noticeable if you wait until the idling speed has dropped to normal on a cold start. It only takes a matter of seconds.

Re: dash symbol

I'm old school, I use my feet and eyes, they have not let me down yet! ;) So am I. I have owned my CX-3 since 2016 and have never even tried either the cruise control or the speed limiter. One of the most annoying habits on the motorway is drivers who take minutes to perform an overtaking manoeuvre...

Re: Mazda reliability and servicing, plus Skyactive X thoughts

"More advanced" automatic gearboxes (or rather automated manuals) such as VAG's DSG and Ford's Powershift have proved troublesome, so much so that Ford has abandoned Powershift and returned to torque converters. VAG have modified their DSG's in response to numerous warranty claims which ha...
