Re: Spare tyre for CX30

Have you resolved your full size spare issue, being that the wheel size is acceptable. The boot on CX30 does not have the option to be raised to a higher level so I think the wheel will be above the floor, meaning the cover will need adapting. I am interested so please ignore any negative comments a...

Re: Auto box

I would be somewhat concerned with parking a car on a slope relying solely on the handbrake, certainly not the best advice. Brum I understand your concern, I agree not a good plan to park on a slope with just the handbrake applied. But as stated the handbrake is applied whilst the car is in neutral...

Re: The end of the CX3?

Legal requirements aside which are debatable, parts are big business someone always buys the tooling to provide parts for a few years till demand makes it unprofitable.

Re: Auto box

Thank you all for your help... Housespider yes I do also park on a slope and stopping using the sequence you suggested has resolved the issue. Thanks again good result. I still have to take the car in to Magna though as the rear view camera decided to stop working for a while, but now works OK again...

Auto box

I wondered if anyone else with an auto box has experienced a intermittent reluctance with the gear leaver to come out of park, obviously the brake is pressed and gear lever button also pressed in fully. It does come out but needs a slight tug. It is booked in to be looked at, but wondered if anyone ...

Re: dash symbol

I'm old school, I use my feet and eyes, they have not let me down yet! ;) So am I. I have owned my CX-3 since 2016 and have never even tried either the cruise control or the speed limiter. One of the most annoying habits on the motorway is drivers who take minutes to perform an overtaking manoeuvre...

Re: Man in the middle attack

Totally agree with you Andy I always keep my keys when in the house in a Faraday pouch, why would you not want to spend a fiver to potentially Prevent your car from getting nicked. The scumbags also hang about in motorway car parks follow drivers inside and use the same trick as the drivers have the...

Re: Front parking sensor's

Hi DaveG. My old Mazda 6 sport had f/r sensor's. If I pulled up to traffic lights sometimes the post for the lights is close enough to set them off. Or a pedestrian standing near the lights did the same. Hi joval, thanks for your interest, it hasn't done it for a while you could be right however so...

Re: Front parking sensor's

To have the front parking sensors activated by first selecting reverse gear is not uncommon, some Audi, BMW, and jaguar models have that system,
Although some can also alternatively be activated to be permantly on.
