CX-3 in most was perfect but circumstances change, in two years time when they move it from the 2 to the 3 platform and get the new engine onboard I will revisit.

Plus I get drive off door locking and a sunroof in the mean time 😁😀
the sunroof would be a real bonus.

Re: Bye bye CX-3

Hi Gus, That is good news. I initially wanted a CX-5 but as they didn't do a petrol auto I went for the CX-3. There is still nothing on the Mazda configurator yet so don't know what specs are available but I will be watching and like you will be up-sizing. Now to sell a 9 month old CX-3. Oh, the los...

Apart from the CX3, we currently own a 20 year old micra and a 10 year old Brera, which is my fave car.
Have only owned a selection of Fords and Fiats over the years.
Do you still have the Alfa?
Always thought it a very attractive motor.

Re: New motoring offence from the 29th June 2018

What prompted me to start this thread in the first place was an incident I experienced a couple of weeks ago. I was driving along a 30mph ‘A’ road, single carriageway, when a cyclist pulled out of a side road some hundred yards or so in front of me. When I caught up with him he was riding just about...

New motoring offence from the 29th June 2018

I see that as from today it is an offence to pass a cyclist closer than 1.5 metres with 3 points and a £1,000 fine. What about the cyclists riding on pavements too close to pedestrians, or the ones that overtake on the inside clipping wing mirrors, and the ones that ignore red traffic lights. Isn't ...

Re: Pre Owned tips

The Diamond Brite is expensive seeing as the kit only costs a fraction of the price. Most of the cost is the labour. Lots of suckling through the teeth normally means getting it for half price.

Re: Pre Owned tips

I bit the bullet and paid out for a Mazda spare. Not cheap but couldn't be bothered with chasing round the Internet especially as it is a new car it seemed a bit pointless buying a new car then starting to cut corners. I have since bought a full size spare which as mentioned on here fits a treat. Yo...

Re: Retail Rant - No.2

What is it with Fiat dealers? A 500L was on my wifes short list, she received the same couldn't care less attitude and ended up ordering a new Mini Countryman. The Mini dealer could not have been better and even nearly a year after purchase she receives regular calls from the service department just...

Re: Not bad for a petrol

Don't know why it's upside down. The car is still the right way up ?? You held the camera upside down when you took the picture; the forum software does not correct for this. You'd have to rotate the picture to the correct orientation with some photo editing software, then edit your post to replace...
