Today noticed a change in idle, normal at 750, but when gear selected (auto box) it starts to fluctuate down to 500 and back to 750 constantly.

Re: Front parking sensor's

They are not active all the time they turn off with speed (12km) so reverse has to be selected when you stop as you nose in to parking spot.

I believe gilera is saying that on his/her car, by design, you have to momentarily select reverse gear for it to switch on the front sensors and they then switch themselves off again when a set speed is reached. S...

Re: Front parking sensor's

No switches it is activated by selecting reverse (auto box) goes off with speed. Need to reactivate at each parking, bit of a pain until you get used to it. Sounds like a faulty installation- what use are front sensors when you are reversing... I can assure you that is how it is installed here. Whe...

Re: Front parking sensor's

I had them fitted by Mazda agents in Gandia Spain, work fine apart from the fact to activate i have to select reverse (auto box). If you forget as you park without selecting reverse there is no warning. Not a good idea.
