Spare Wheel for sale

I've just moved on to a CX-30 so have a dealer supplied CX-3 space saver wheel, plus the foam surround and jack, for those models with the Bose for sale. Tyre size T125/90R16, very good condition (used briefly twice in 5 years). Looking for £120 ono. Due to size/weight this would have to be collecti...

Re: premium v regular unleaded

I've been using Asda normal unleaded (95RON), just because it's nearest to my place of work, occasionally using Texaco 95, and on my 26 mile commute via the A2, Dartford Crossing and A13 regularly get between 45 and 51 mpg according to the 'mpg this trip' read out (got 54 mpg this morning!). Went to...

Re: Saris rear bike rack

I'll be interested to know how that goes as there doesn't seem to be any tailgate mounted bike racks that are recommended for the CX-3. I had a Saris Gran Fondo for my last car but I've gone for some roof mounted racks now.

Re: What an absolute pleasure

Used mine to go to work a couple of days ago, no problems on the roads even though the one nearest my office resembled an ice rink. Only snag I did have was getting out of the office car park that night - on a slope, not gritted and with an electronic gate you have to wait to open. Kicked a bit of t...

Re: Roof bars

Thanks for the replies. I take it then that the replacement trims don't have covers for the mounting points. Seems a strange way of doing things when so many vehicles have covers which can be removed and replaced as the need arises to install bars.

Re: I'm actually impressed with the fuel economy on this mahine

Very good indeed. I'm getting around 43mpg , mainly driving in town with a short 6 mile commute at 50mph but have already noticed the positive difference a longer run at higher speeds makes. Being a bit new to the CX-3 (and petrol, having driven diesels for quite a few years), do people find that th...

Roof bars

Hi, I'm looking at getting some roof bars for my CX-3 Sports Nav and wondering what the options are. I wouldn't look to be having them on permanently, only for holidays and transporting the occasional larger load. Also, I'm trying to avoid using bars that clamp to the roof above the doors. I know th...

Hi, just got a CX-3 :-)

Hi, I got my 2016 Sport Nav 2.0 just about a month ago and really loving how nimble it is. Had to get the wheels balanced as there was a distinctive vibration from around 60mph upwards, but that's now been resolved by the dealer (T W White at Orpington). Still getting used to it (having come from a ...
