Isn't the thinner gauge metal all part of the Skyactiv design philosophy?-

it was a loud sound i will say that' a bit louder then normal. but then the trees on our estate are on the large side 75 ft. the only problem with dings is the car loses value when you come to trade in?
A bigger tree doesn't give you bigger acorns, just the terminal velocity may be a tad higher 😁

Re: Warning - 2nd Service.

This raises an interesting point that must occur to many CX3 owners shortly to end their 3 year guarantees. Many owners, including myself have done little more than 2000 miles since march-thus a late service doesn't matter a hoot unless of course Mazda insist the third and final "guarantee"service ...

Re: Warning - 2nd Service.

I found out a couple of years ago that you have to book at least 6 weeks in advance for a service. When you're having a service based on miles (where you do more than 12,500 miles a year) it becomes more difficult to calculate when it would be due. As I've been doing anywhere between 50 & 600 miles ...

In the sounds section of settings, right at the bottom, the is a tick box for "beep". Maybe try unticking it.

Re: 5th Service

Had 6th service today at 74,500 miles / 120,000 km. Finally had the original front brake pads changed. Other than that nothing to report except the car feeling a bit smoother. Maybe the new spark plugs have made a difference. I cannot fault the car, for reliability or anything else. And the wear & t...

Re: Lane departure warning.

Try resetting it.
I don't get the beep, just the rumble. I've got the warning set to "Rare", low volume & adaptive.
Whilst it still goes off and is annoying, I find it better than having a yellow light on the dash.

Re: Lane departure warning.

I have set everything in the Safety section of Settings to the minimum, adaptive selected, and only have the rumble ticked.
Try playing around with these settings.
