Re: CarPlay finally
A little overated is Carplay and Android Auto. Tried a VW with it for a week when I had a hire car and not that impressed. It depends how techie you want to be and yes using Waze instead of standard sat nav would be better for me but something I can live without for now. It can IMO be quite interest...

Re: Updated 2019 CX3
Yea one of the interior changes - never had one so don’t know the pros and cons Pro - Overall safer. Applies automatically when the car is shut off, usually can't be activated while driving, can only be disengaged by the driver. One gets used to them rather quickly. Con - Impedes male mating ritual...

Re: Lured in (again)
I do like the look of the CX-3. It's not as nice as the new CX-5 but the CX-5 was too large.

Re: What an absolute pleasure
I had to use the car last night on a mercy mission in the snow. The roads and lanes around me last night were a bit dodgy but I had to go out. ... In all my years of driving in the snow, I've come to the conclusion that it is the rubber that makes the main difference between not moving and having p...

Re: i stop
Stopped at lights, car in front engine running, doesnt have istop or has disabled it, chucking out whatever gases, some being sucked into my air space. Much rather he or she had istop. And yes I know I could put mine onto recirculation...... etc etc 1) You'd have to be very close for your a/c syste...

Re: Autodimming mirror
I guess most people are waiting for self driving cars to become acceptable so they can sit back Why would you buy a self-driving car if you could just book a self-driving Uber? :D In Japan they have toilets that wipe your bum for you... No, they have not. They have bum washing toilets (including so...

Re: New changes for mid-2018 model
The news might be right but as is often the case, the picture is selected by some apprentice journalist. The Canadian website is however clearly wrong. It threw a picture of the CX-5 interior (you even see the logo in the instrument cluster) into the mix to fuel speculations. Other than that, it di...

Re: OMG - those adaptive LED lights
If you don't have the Safety Pack then you don't have the adaptive LED lights. The Sport Nav does have LED bulbs as standard and has an adaptive lighting system (i.e. lights follow the road) but not the LED array unless you have the additional pack. That's the tricky bit. I've ordered a Sport Nav e...
