Re: Mazda reliability and servicing, plus Skyactive X thoughts

I have the best of both worlds. I have the manual (best gearbox in the world) in my MX-5 and an auto in the CX-3. I did have a 66 plate CX-3 with a manual box (the same box as the MX-5), but having reached 71 years old I thought I would try out this new technology. The auto box is almost perfect. Th...

Re: MX-5 back on the UK price list 1st Jan 2020

They need to reduce sales of the MX-5 because of the overall fleet efficiencies. I think there target reduction was around 12%, so I guess the big price increase is to compensate for the loss of sales. A bit sad really.

Re: Mazda reliability and servicing, plus Skyactive X thoughts

Hi Mark and welcome to the forums. However I think you maybe asking the wrong forum. They don't offer the Skyactiv-X engine in the CX-3, so you won't get many responses. I do agree with HouseSpider the auto box is excellent!

Re: Man in the middle attack

I still use a pouch, but I'm not sure why. Thieves now have key code grabbers available to them, devices that can be left near your car, under a hedge or rock, that pick up the signal from your key to your car. They block the first signal from your key and copy the code, it can then be used at any t...

Re: The end of the CX3?

I believe the reason for the dispapperance of the CX-3 is due to the new Co2 limits from EU as per January 1st 2020. The avreage need to be no higher than 95 g/km, every gram above that will result in a £95 fine per car sold in the EU. Mazdas cars produce way too much Co2 so I think the CX-3 would ...

Yes... separate forums with Links between them.
No need for links unless you wish to link every Mazda forum. The CX-3 and CX-30 are totally different models.

Re: New CX-30 forum or not?

This should stay as a CX-3 forum. Other models should have a separate forum. I can see no reason why different models should be added to this forum. If you do that you may as well just have an all Mazda forum.
