Re: Auto light Dip/Full Beam Issue

I have the auto lights on both the CX-3 and MX5, but I will never use that setting, it is far too dangerous. I had a Jag about 7 years ago with auto lights and one evening the lights switched on while approaching a junction. The car waiting to pull out thought I was indicating to him and drove out i...

Re: CX-3 What's missing?

I'm happy with the engine, it's not a sports car but a small crossover. Agree about the bonnet prop, had hydraulic struts on my C30. Most of the other manufacturers with small crossovers do have engines with a higher BHP. The chassis, brakes and handling do lend themselves to being a bit sportier, ...

Re: CX-3 What's missing?

Auto door locking I'm glad you said that. I thought it was auto-locking like the MX5, but I just went and checked it. I've been expecting it to auto lock when I walk away, so I've been leaving it unlocked. It seems ridiculous that it is not standard on the CX-3 when it is on the MX5. You ha...

Re: What do you wish you'd ordered?

That's interesting Steve, I didn't realise they weren't a factory option. It sounds a bit Mlcky Mouse to me. Maybe I'll take my chances without them.
My rear sensors do increase in frequency until it becomes a constant tone a couple inches away.

Re: What do you wish you'd ordered?

I didn't order mine new. I bought a pre-registered Manual Sport Nav 2.0L with 50 miles on the clock. Got it for £17,450. If I had ordered it new I would have gone for the front parking sensors. You just can't see where the bonnet ends. I have got the blind spot sensors on the MX5, but I don't think ...

Re: CX-3 What's missing?

It's interesting to see that others feel that a few extra BHP would be a useful addition. If I still feel the same when the warranty ends I will be paying the guys at BBR a visit. An extra 50BHP for £500 sounds like a good upgrade.

Re: Learning to Appreciate my CX3

Glad you stayed away from the BMW, they seem to turn drivers into 'Road Hogs'.
The CX-3 has a lovely gearbox and a very light clutch, so easy to use. I'm happy you are learning to love it again.

CX-3 What's missing?

Following on from Geejams best feature thread, what do you think would improve the CX-3. Up to three items, either something that is an option and should be standard, something that could be improved or something that would be a completely new feature. The three things for me are:- 1. A 'DNA' (Dynam...
