Re: Possible Clutch Release Bearing issue??

Nick_B cost wise for replacing a clutch including new clutch and release bearing is I reckon around the £630 mark at a franchised dealer, and around £400 none franchised garage. I put my registration in a clutch replacement service on line and those were the quotes.

Re: 1.5 skyactiv diesel Remap and/or DPF delete anyone?

I hate to tell you this, but it is illegal to drive a car which has had the DPF removed and would fail a MOT, the tester will check for removal and filters that have been tampered with.

Re: The end of the CX3?

Had a chat with my local dealer yes production has stopped and they are not happy, as it was a good seller. Initially they were informed that it would sell alongside the 3 & 5. And they obviously realize the 30 will be competing in the segment above the CX3. Like myself some customers are not ha...

Re: TPMS

I agree cx3fan......I have replaced the dust caps with ones that relay the tyre pressure to a monitor on the dash.....in the summer when parked in the sun the tyres facing the sun are sometimes several psi higher than the side in the shade, and when driving off the warning has not been displayed. As...

Re: Just picked up brand new car but...

That is really bad, I hate to say it but trim restorer will not improve damage, it may well make it look slightly better for a while. I think you are totally correct re dash removal. However maybe your dealer can get in a smart repairer, they are really good and they can carry out virtually invisibl...

Re: Doors not unlocking

Be careful David, there is a device that car thieves are using which blocks your signal and records the code. they can then use that code to unlock it at a later date. The device is hidden near the car, under a hedge or something, then they pick it up when nobody is around. I'm not saying that has ...
