Re: Bluetooth weirdness; seriously weird stuff
I think I was getting a little confused myself. The phone connects with Bluetooth not wifi unless you use the Connected Services. However it may be possible for one to affect the other. It probably a matter of trying all different scenarios and pinning down the ones that cause the issue. You may the...

Re: Bluetooth weirdness; seriously weird stuff
Definitely sound like there is an issue at the location you park your car.
When you get into the carpark what wifi networks are available to connect to and does the phone auto-connect to any of these?

Re: Bluetooth weirdness; seriously weird stuff
If you drove from work for a couple of miles, stopped & turned your phone & car off, waited a minute, reboot your phone and then start your car, what happens?

Re: Chips with everything
The engine is the same across the range and for other models but with different stages of tune. It would be good for Mazda to give you the opportunity to remap to another models state of tune. Evo Chips web site FAQs has the following on it: "Your car dealer cannot determine a software modifica...

My insurance company only settled when the other party put a whiplash claim in (and marked it down as ...

Re: I've got something special to detail
I've driven one at a track day. Knocked the spots off Lamborghini, Audi R8, Ariel Atom. Only the Ferrari came near.

Re: Chips with everything
I've found the torque increase the more important. I don't over-rev the engine normally staying below 3000 rpm. 100% of the torque is available at 2800 rpm.
Mine cost £249 & very happy with it.
I got it done at Hendy Performance in Southampton, just behind Hendy Mazda.

Re: Chips with everything
Yes, approx 10% more bhp & torque. Seems more refined, smoother, and pulls a little better. I'm going to have to test drive a bog standard version again to see what it's like.

Re: Bluetooth weirdness; seriously weird stuff
Is there likely to be any interference etc where you park your car during the day and affects the Bluetooth when you start the car in the afternoons?
