Re: New North East Member

If you don't go for a Sport Nav you will have to put the MX-5 in the garage!

Re: New North East Member

@Strangeways, my 16 reg air-con has recently packed up and is being looked (for the first time I think) at this service time in March! That is surprising Andy. I know they replaced some condensers with more dodgy ones before they realised what the problem was. My 66 reg went in the first 6 months. ...

Re: New North East Member

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and thanks for the advice. What is the main benefits for opting for the Sport Nav over the SE-L-Nav. Number one is looks, looks and looks, those 18" wheels make a lot of difference. LED Headlights Reversing camera Bose Sound System Adaptive front lights etc... ...

Re: New North East Member

Hi Paul and welcome to the forums. The CX-3 and MX-5 make a great combination. I think with a budget of £14k you may be able to pick up the Sport Nav. As Andy says there was a bad batch of air con condensers, but that came to light early 2017 I think, so any faulty units should have been replaced by...

Re: New member

Hi Stedmeister and welcome to the forums. Glad you enjoyed your first drive in a CX-3, they certainly are lovely cars to drive. I hope your partner enjoys it as much. I had one exactly the same as that, but only just upgraded to a Blue Sport Nav +. I love them :D

Re: Upgrade Sport Nav Manual to Sport Nav + Auto

Enjoyed your review as I pick up my new Auto Sport Nav + in the next week or so. You mention the brakes I had driven Citroen's for a few years before my CX3, around town the Citroen's brakes are ridiculously sharp and totally non progressve , so to me my Mazda's brakes are superb, not complaining i...

Upgrade Sport Nav Manual to Sport Nav + Auto

I have only covered 300 miles in my new Sport Nav + Auto, but I thought I should note down a few comparisons between this car and my previous Sport Nav Manual for anybody considering upgrading. Cabin layout is basically the same apart from the electric handbrake. Although I still prefer the manual h...

Re: Auto-hold Question

Neither. On my model there is a button behind the handbrake. Press it once and then every time you stop you can hold the footbrake on by putting a bit of extra pressure on the pedal. It will then stay on until you press the accelerator.
