Yes, I meant the shells, I eat the contents, they are tasty :)

Re: losing power

jtonline mentions the cleaning aspects of modern fuels, if only that was true nowadays. The Skyactiv engines, like many other modern engines use direct injection into the combustion chambers therefore the fuel does not pass through the inlet valves but directly into the combustion chambers. The effe...

Re: losing power

Oh, the old chestnut of supermarket fuels. As far as I know the fuel comes from the same refineries as the brand leaders, the difference is the additives. I cannot comment on the CX-3, neither the petrol or diesel are performace cars. But I do have an opinion at the other end of the spectrum. My Nis...

Re: Passenger Airbag

Once you have seen it, you can't ignore it. I agree being off centre is very irritating if you are a bit OCD. I just want to find out how to get the panel off and remove the offending bulb.

Re: Hello and a question please

I agree, it's a bit strange that the mirrors do not adjust. Others cars I have had do. I am tall, my wife is shorter, so although we can adjust the seat and HUD from the button it's shortsighted of Mazda to omit the mirrors as they have to be adjusted manually every time the driver changes. Makes th...

jtonline wrote: Mon Jan 08, 2018 9:18 pm Ha, I said the same after I bought my car.
One of these days I might remove that panel and disconnect the light.
The other one that irritates, is the 'LDWS off' light on the instrument cluster :|
Hi jtonline, have you any idea how that panel comes off?

Pointless Information ?

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what the point is of having the words "Passenger Airbag" always illuminated in the central display. It's meaningless. There are symbols to tell you if it is on or off. I just don't see the point of the words showing.

Re: Early Observations

I agree about the gearbox. My last car was a VAG model with the DSG box. Although it worked well and gave no problems I prefer the old torque converter box of the Mazda. It still has the manual override and flappy paddles if so desired. If only I could prise it out of my wifes hands and drive it mys...

Nav - deleting history

Hi all,

Maybe it's my age but I cannot for the life of me find out how to delete past addresses from the history. It seems it is possible to delete favourites. Do I have to transfer the history to the favs then delete. Would seem a bit long winded.
