Re: Entering post code in satnav

Do you mean I have to use the touch screen rather than the knob by the gear stick?

Re: Entering post code in satnav

Yes I've tried the space along with about everything else. Doesn't seem to help. Instructions from Mazda just say enter. I enter along the line where it says enter address or post code.

Entering post code in satnav

I have had my CX3 for nearly three years now from new. Until today I can't recall trying to enter new destination using postcode. I have always used address. Today I spent a frustrating 30 mins trying to work out how to enter postcode and actually gave up. I tried to enterLE11 2AF. I enter LE11 but ...

Re: smart brake warning light

The smart brake system has baffled me for two years. I can select the system to on using the menu. The warning light comes on if the screen is frosty or very wet. I usually give the screen a rub and it goes off. I've looked behind the Mazda badge and the is no electronic device there. The smart warn...

Re: Sat Nav

I was about to come onto the site to ask about my satnav query so I'll tag on to this. On my previous Mazda5 my screen gave actual speed in MPH. I can't seem to get it on the CX3. Should it be there or am I missing some setting? On a long straight road I established that my speedo was 4% high. Has a...

Re: Smart City Braking System

Yes I do have that light but I've never had any sort of indication that the thing is working. On just about a daily basis I park at my local paper shop by approaching a brick wall at slow walking pace to within about two yards. I've never seen or heard anything that indicates I am about to collide u...

Re: Smart City Braking System

Yes. What I like about it is the available power, the really direct steering and just enough gadgetry to be useful and not cause frustration.

Re: Smart City Braking System

Thanks for that. I must admit when I bought the CX3 I was perhaps a bit lax on viewing specs. My lovely wife had just passed away and the MX5 we had together had too many memories. I saw a CX3 in the showroom, had a test drive and picked that model. Seems strange to me that the system appears on the...
