Re: Q85 battery replacement / I-stop.

Mine died a couple of weeks ago. Bought an identical Yuasa battery from Country batteries for £130. Easy replacement but was not aware of any special procedures for I stop, which hasn’t cut in since, not that I would expect it to as it rarely did.
Always disconnect negative wire 1st and connect last.

Re: Vibration

Hope it’s not contagious as I pick mine up from body shop tomorrow after having new rear bumper fitted. Had a hired Ford Kuga manual diesel, driving gently on a 200 mile run got low 40’s mpg, not as good as my petrol auto. Can’t wait to get the Mazda back.

Re: Tyres

Initial feedback for the Falken FK453 as promised, Just replaced the 4 Toyos and the reduction in road noise is amazing. One of the rear Toyos had uneven wear which sounded like a worn wheel bearing and contributed to the road noise.

Re: Tyres

I also have Toyo tyres fitted all round with about 3mm on front. They didn’t feel safe in current wet weather. I’m not knocking the Toyos as I think the 1.6 mm limit is too low for safety. One rear tyre has uneven wear on inside, which I think is increasing noise levels. Falkens on order, good to he...

Re: Passenger wing mirror not fully closing

The gears stripped on my passenger mirror, so the motor was running all the time and mirror just twitching. I didn’t want to spent £250 ish on a new mirror, I removed the door trim and cut the white/black striped wire on the mirror side of connector plug. Taped up both ends. All functions work apart...

Re: Gravel Damage to my rear tyres !

Follow up to my original post. I immediately took the car from the Main dealer to the MOT centre I have used for years, they made a throrough examination of all tyres with a screwdriver which is not allowed as MOT is a visual check only. 2 tyres had small but deep cuts, probably from flints, they wo...

Re: Gravel Damage to my rear tyres !

Hello Everyone. I posted this in Jan this year.. What a goldmine this forum is. 3 weeks ago I bought a 3 year old 2.0 petrol auto Sport Nav in Meteor Grey, after 12 years with an Audi A4 diesel, about to be fitted with its 3rd autobox!! I love the CX3 but am a little frustrated that according to the...
