Re: Mazda CX-3 iStop - problem or no problem?

In an automatic, it's controlled by how hard you depress the brake pedal, so just as easy. ;)

Re: Spare wheel options

The Mazda parts required (other than the space saver wheel & tyre) and part numbers are in my blog article. A call to your dealer will confirm current prices. The Mazda jack fits in the cubby hole behind the plastic panel in the boot and secures with a bolt that is a separate part. The wheel nut...

Re: FL 22 coolant

Googled and saw this: http://www.racingbeateurope.com/bmazda- ... 2204-p.asp
Don't know how £28.20 + del. for 5L premixed compares with dealer prices though.

Re: Windscreen Chip

I've just bought a Rain-X kit from Halfords. I think the weather is going to be cloudy this weekend, but if it's dry with some sunshine (UV light cures the resin) I'll give it a go and report back.

Re: Spare wheel options

Yep, the space saver wheel is 16" diameter and the recommended tyre size is T125/90D16 98M. When fitted, you should only drive at max. 50mph for the shortest distance possible. Mazda recommend that you do not fit to the front axle. N.B: If you buy the wheel & tyre from an ebay seller, unles...

Re: Spare wheel options

I bought a full size alloy wheel, jack etc from Mazda. Not cheap, but convenient in the event of a puncture. See write-up on my website here: http://www.jtonline.info/18-inch-spare-wheel/ If, however, you want to stick with the space-saver wheel kit, you may find some for sale online (ebay etc) that...

Re: Folding Mirrors

Ah OK.
On pre-2017 models, the dial on the armrest that alters the mirror angle can be rotated 180° to the fold-in position. I think on the 2017 models it's either that dial or two switches, one for fold-in and one for fold-out.

The forums software will not auto-correct the orientation of photos where the camera was rotated when taking the shot. Members will need to check, and if necessary, correct orientation of photos in an image editing program before uploading.

Re: Folding Mirrors

You should be able to power fold/unfold the door mirrors at any time the ignition is on using the control on the driver's door armrest. You can on my model, and I don't see anything to the contrary in the 2017 owner's manual. It would be helpful if you could put details of your car in your user prof...
