Re: stop start issue
Sounds like maybe you need a new battery if you are wanting the S/S to work properly. The S/S not working on our car was the first sign that battery needed changing. At 7 years old the battery has had a decent life and even slight degradation can prevent the S/S from working. As a last role of the d...

Re: 1.5d cx3 bad fuel consumption?
This seems a bit low to me. This is the equivalent of 37 miles per gallon. Fuel consumption will depend on your usage. If you are doing only short journeys in low winter temperatures, then the engine will not be operating efficiently. In normal use 45-50 mpg (16-18 KM/L) seems about right. Causes of...

Re: Screen delamination MZD connect.
Touch screen replaced and took about an hour to do. The hardest bit was removing the adhesive from the screen surround. I soaked the surround in very hot water and then used IPA and razor blade to remove the adhesive. It was all going to plan until the moment I removed the protective film from the n...

Re: Screen delamination MZD connect.
Yes, I had it on my CX-3. I bought a replacement glass digitizer screen from eBay and used a YouTube video to fit it. Part e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403899801837 I can't remember which video I followed for fitting, but it was one similar to this one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnhRFr2xZ...

Screen delamination MZD connect.
Anyone else suffering from this on their entertainment screen. I first noticed it about 2 years ago and it has now spread about 1cm from the bottom left corner outwards in spiders web pattern. I have been looking at ND MX-5's and a few have had the same issue. Has anyone else on here suffered the sa...

Re: stop start issue
Probably a combination of the cold weather and lack of use. I installed a new battery and it took a couple of journeys for it to charge sufficiently for the S/S to work. How old is your battery? I changed ours after 7.5 years. If you check the fuel economy app you can cycle to thru to check the S/S ...

Re: Steam in rear lamps
Today, I finally got round to looking at the condensation in the nearside rear light of our Mazda 2 and I am glad I did. I removed the light and poured out about 150ml of water that had accumulated and was not draining out. The lens appears to be either just clipped or bonded to the black housing an...

Re: I-stop flashing.
I replaced mine with a Varta N72 from Tayna batteries that was delivered next day for £122. It even had the bonus of two handles compared to the old GS battery which makes lifting 16.7Kg a bit easier. I did not use a temporary power source and it seems only that the trip meter and expected range hav...

Re: Fuel quantity monitoring
I also find that both the fuel gauge and estimated range do act rather strangely at times. Our range goes down very slowly at first then faster nearer empty. I have seen the range increase on occasions. I guess it uses your current average mpg and multiplies this by the estimated fuel left in the ta...
