Redex DPF cleaner

Thought I would post this in case it helps anybody else. I have been seeing the distance between DPF regens falling on our 2016 Mazda 2. They have been happening every 60-80 miles recently. I bought a bottle of redex DPF cleaner and added it with a usual bottle of redex diesel treatment that I add e...

Re: Infotainment reboots.

Probably worth trying to reset the Infotainment system. To do this press and hold the Mute, Nav, and Back buttons together for at least 10 seconds.

Re: Help please, my DPF was removed before I bought the car!

The ECU will have been remapped to take in the fact the DPF has been gutted and EGR blanked in order for no warning lights to appear and for no DPF regenerations to take place. To make the car road legal you will need to have these changes to the ECU reversed and a new or second hand DPF fitted. eBa...

Faulty coolant temperature sensor? Just a guess. Is your heater working properly and kicking out a decent amount of heat?

+1 but first try ejecting the card and put it back in.

Re: I-stop flashing.

Many thanks for that @st3v3cx-3. Drove the car yesterday and today and the flashing I-stop has cleared and not returned. I guess it's the first sign the battery is on its way out. I checked out tayna batteries and they recommended a N72 Varta 068EFB but Eurocarparts recommend a different size batter...

Re: I-stop flashing.

Flashing I-stop appeared for the first time today on our 2016 Mazda 2 and the wife nearly Sh1t a brick. I have told her numerous times if the light is red then start to worry and don't drive the car. If it's orange then don't worry. So I guess it's new battery time. Is there anything special about t...

Re: Rear parking camera flickering and rolling.

You could drive a car thru all the holes in Mazda's paintwork guarantee! It seems not to apply to any plastic panels, like bumpers as allegedly you can only use a paint depth gauge on metal panels. Nice get out of jail card!

Re: Annoying placement of central console controls

I'm curious to know why Mazda thought it was a good decision to place the controls nearest the driver's seat rather switching them to the other side and and putting the handbrake nearest to the seat? I can understand the placements for a LHD car but on a RHD car it makes no sense in my opinion. Mak...
