The only thing that I have found that helps is when parking up open all the doors and tailgate to let all the warm air escape. The Air Con issue was resolved last year. Cars from Sept. '18 onwards don't have the issue.
I get into the low 40's for a variety of rural and town driving.

To be honest we didn't get that far. We were so taken a back by their tone of take it or leave it, we left.
