I did the swap to LED and the light lenses are quite easy to remove. Just go carefully, following the diagrams on page 6-52 (2017 Owners Manual) of where to prod them with a flat blade screwdriver.

Hmm., not experienced that issue. I've had it where someone has replied whilst I was composing my reply and the board has then warned me and allowed me to view the posted reply before I've submitted mine.
